Teaching Frenchie what America is all about!!

I'm a french student doing an internship in the US for 2 months and this is my first time in this amazing country.
During these 2 months, I'm staying at Kim's place, she rents a spare room. She is the most awesome roomie I have ever had, and thanks to her I have discovered so many things about this beautiful country, she takes me to the coolest events and places. I saw the Stanley Cup with my own eyes, the Blues Fest and so much more that these 577 characters are not enough to say how much I love Chicago right now.
She taught me about the "Slug Bug" thing (the bruises on my arm can prove it, LOL), she told me that her dad had a VW Beetle when she was a kid and everytime she sees one, it reminds her of this time. That's why I think she would deserve to win the LoveBug, because it would be my way to thank her for everything, for making me love this country. She is so giving, generous & comical and thanks to her this is how I will remember Americans.
